  Voices of Multilingual Learners For my digital storytelling project, I would like to create a story titled Voices of Multilingual Learners . The story will center on three middle school students who are in the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education program and whose first languages are not English. Each student will share their personal experiences learning English, navigating a new culture, and finding their place within the school community. The film will be created by compiling interview responses from students using guiding questions that invite them to reflect on their challenges, strengths, and hopes for the future.           The Story of Stuff really challenges us to think about how our daily choices connect to bigger environmental and social issues. The video breaks down the “stuff” cycle: extraction, production, distribution, consumption, and disposal, and shows how each step affects people and the planet. What makes it especially powerful is how it uses digital storytelling to blend facts, visuals, and a clear narrative that pulls the viewer in emotionally while also encouraging reflection and action.           Lambert (2010) describes digital storytelling as a “personal, emotional, and visual process,” and that’s exactly what this video accomplishes.     My name is Kelli Bier, and I teach at Skyview Middle School in District 49, Colorado Springs. I currently work as a Broadcasting Teacher and Educational Technology Specialist, where I help students learn all about planning and producing a weekly broadcast for the school. My students write scripts, film, and edit their own school news segments, and I also help support teachers with technology integration and digital learning. This year, I’m excited to be mentoring new teachers as well. I love being in a role where I can combine my passion for creativity, technology, and teaching.
